Below are pictures of the handsome fathers of our delightful kittens. Our lead male is called Aristede. He's a Supreme Grand Champion and much loved in our household. He's rather spoiled, too. Never caged, Aristede and the other boys enjoy just as much freedom as our girls. I want our males to feel loved and cherished as family members. Even though it's more time consuming, I make sure each of the boys is able to roam freely for a period of time throughout the house each day.

Otherwise the boys are kept in separate bedrooms well supplied with high quality food and water and most often kept with a Ragdoll friend. Ragdolls are very much social animals, and they would have a hard time staying all by themselves.

Aristede is pictured at 5 1/2 years old in his full winter coat. 

It's really hard to take good pictures of Aristede.  He never poses during planned photo shoots. 
In this picture, I caught him sitting on the kitchen counter where he knows he's not allowed.  
Can't you just read that petulent look? It's as though he's asking "Who are you to kick me off the counter!"
Needless to say this photo wasn't taken with the best backdrop so I clipped him out of the kitchen and placed him on a regal throne.

Even though this is a somewhat stylized shot of Aristede in his plush winter coat,
that is definitely the color of his eyes -- there's no need to mess with perfection!
