Daniel is ready to go now!  Born April 23, 2008

This is the magnificent Daniel.  He is one of those once in a life time Ragdoll kittens.  He is everything anyone could ever want in a kitten and then some.  He is sweet and gentle, yet playful and exuberant.  There is no doubt that this is one of Angelique's most superior kittens, on par with Aristede.  Daniel is available as show or as a pet.

$650. as a pet.

Daphne has kittens! Born July 17, 2008.  A $200. deposit will hold your pet kitten until he is ready to go.  Kittens ready for their new homes mid to late September. The babies are currently under evaluation as breeder, show/breeder, or pet quality unless otherwise noted.  Contact me for additional pictures.

Lisette - Blue Bi-Color Girl.  Lisette is a large boned girl who's already leaning towards being a show/breeder prospect.  She has a strong chin, nice boning, and substantial forehead leading me to believe she'll have a nice scoopy look when she's a bit older.

AVAILABLE.

Monique - Blue Bi-Color Girl.  Monique is the star of this show.  What a lovely girl!  She has her mother's wide whisker pads and large boning combined with her father's perfect markings and sweet expression.  I'm really excited about Monique and have her pegged as a show/breeder potential.

On Hold for Olga in Russia!

Napoleon - Blue Lynx Bi-Color Boy $650. as a pet.

Oz - Blue Lynx Bi-Color Boy.  Here is a very handsome boy with much potential.  I stand corrected regarding this baby boy's V.  This last week as he's matured his color has filled in and he has a great V with much fullness.  You can see his V a bit better in his new 5 wk old picture.  He would make an excellent addition to any cattery, especially one looking for great boning and deep eye color.  I believe at this point that Oz will be a show/breeder.

AVAILABLE

Pascale - Blue Bi-Color Boy.  Pascale is just too cute.  He's this enormous kitten with bunches of fur and the sweetest baby kitten personality.  His V doesn't show up in the pictures yet, but I can see that it is absolutely perfect.  I'm not certain yet whether Pascale has show potential or not.  I'll have to see how he develops in the next week or so before I make up my mind.

AVAILABLE

Quenby - Blue Bi-Color Girl $650. as a pet.  No picture this week.  Quenby wouldn't sit still!

Raphael - Blue Bi-Color Boy.  This picture makes Raphael look like some sort of brute, but he's actually quite sweet.  He very much resembles Aristede and has a very short extremely rounded forehead that gives him that pensive expression.  Give him a week or two and that look will soften up.  I have my eye on this one as a potential show stopper.

AVAILABLE

Sylvester - Blue Bi-Color Boy w/white tip tail $550. as a pet

Tabitha - Blue Bi-Color Girl $650. as a pet

Planned Litter for Spring 2009:

RW Ch. RegencyRags Coquettish Delight (Blue Lynx Bi-Color) and RegencyRags Texas Freedom Jubilee (Seal Mitted).

RegencyRags kittens are the highest quality around.  Our kittens have it all: beauty, brains and brawn!  Yet behind every pretty face is a fully socialized kitten.  My first Ragdoll pet kittens were stand-offish at best.  Just imagine my disapointment when my first, then second Ragdoll kitten would not sit on my lap or lay still in my arms.  I resolved then that were I ever to raise Ragdoll kittens myself, I would raise the ultimate Ragdoll kittens emphasizing socialiability and beauty.

At RegencyRags the socialization of each kitten begins with its birth.  I am right there helping the dam deliver the precious babies.  Together we clean them up and tuck them away in warm blankets as the other kittens are born.  This can be a long process -- sometimes more than three hours.  Although tedious, I make a point to stay with the mother and babies until the last one is born, then watch over them making sure all the new additions are nursing comfortably.

From then on I am with the babies everyday.  By three weeks old they come when I call to them.  It's just too cute to see them scooting on their baby legs.  At this point I put the kittens in a weaning box.  This way they can wander freely yet still have bounderies.  This is where they learn to drink water, eat solid food, and use the litterbox!  Once they've mastered the litterbox at six weeks old and have received their first injectable 3-in-1 vaccine, I allow the babies out of the weaning box for short periods of time.  At this point they are too young to meet other cats or people.  It's at eight weeks old that the kittens are given free roam of the house.  It's at this point I think I've raised a herd of buffalo instead of kittens!  We have a huge house, so the kittens take advantage of all the room by running at top speed from one floor to the other.

Once the kittens have reached eight weeks old I invite neighbor children over to have supervised play with the kittens.  At this point the kittens get to take trips to Petsmart with me and that's always a real treat for the kittens and myself.  They love to be petted by the other pet lovers, and I like to hear how darn cute they are!

The kittens receive their second vaccine at nine weeks old and are de-wormed as well.  Around this time the kittens are seen by my vet, and by 10 to 12 weeks old the kittens are ready to go to their new homes.  I should note that throughout this process the kittens are encouraged to sleep with me and watch television with me, or sit on top of my book while I'm trying to read.  And imagine the fun when I try to crochet!!!  It's kitten heaven around here.

In addition, I'd like to note that the health of our Ragdoll cats and kittens is of the utmost importance to us, equal in all ways to socialization.  I keep my numbers down to ensure that I stay small, and to ensure that all my cats live in a clean, sanitary and loving environment.  It surprises me to find that some breeders consider themselves small when they have ten to fifteen cats.  It surprises me when breeders tell me their cats live in a loving environment, then find out they live in the garage or in a barn, or in an unairconditioned backyard shed.  What kind of socialization can you expect your kitten to receive when they are living in the garage?  We have a wonderful vet in the Bay Area who treats any Ragdoll kitten or cat who becomes ill.  Luckily we have had very little illness in our cattery. The Ragdoll kitten price includes kitten shots, deworming, and a visit to the vet.  All Ragdoll kittens are sold under contract.  RegencyRags provides a two year genetic guarantee.  Please note that the kittens are not to be declawed.  Delivery assistance is available.

This year I've decided to price my kittens a bit lower than in the past.  As a hobby breeder I am not in this for the money and I want to see as many people possible with a Ragdoll in their house.  It's my opinion that Ragdolls are just "it" when it comes to felines and I want to make them available to everyone.  I am always ready to talk with kitten people, so give me a call or email if you'd like.  If you'd like additional information about the cats or kittens please let me know.  Thanks!
